The Sunroom

Location

As you've probably read by now, our mountain rentals are off-grid . . . that's mostly on purpose.  We want our guests to enjoy the views, the mountain air, the wildlife, and the quiet and solitude.  But, we also recognize the need for cold water, hot coffee, and the occasional high speed wi-fi.  That's why we built the Sunroom.

Just finished in the fall of 2024, The Sunroom is easily accessible from all our mountain rentals by car or foot.  You can't miss it; it's the enclosed porch on the front of our house.  There, we offer coffee and continental breakfast (ie. fruit, oatmeal, muffins), an assortment of cold drinks and water, and high-speed wi-fi. It's all self-serve and available anytime during daylight hours.

We hope you enjoy the Amish rocking chairs and will excuse the dust and hair -- it is a porch, after all, and a little hard to keep clean despite our best efforts.

We ask that you do not bring your pets into the Sunroom as that's the domain of our dog and cats.  Your pet is welcome to lounge outside while you grab your treats.  Outside to the right of the Sunroom is a patio table and chairs, and your pet is welcome to join you there. You can access the wi-fi from this spot, too, and if the sun is bothering you, feel free to put up the umbrella.
